# How to start Open foris Collect on mac

Hi;

I just can't figure out the way to start Open Foris Collect on Mac

Hope you don't mind assisting me on that

Hello!

We are working on a launcher for Mac (the installer has been created just a couple of weeks ago) .

In the meantime you need to start it manually.

Open a terminal window and type : 

**> cd ~/OpenForis/Collect**

**> ./start.sh**

This will start the Collect server. You will be able to access it though the URL ( after a few seconds when the server has finalized initiating) :

[http://localhost:8380/collect][1]


In the coming versions of Collect for Mac there will be a launcher so the process is simpler, thank you for your patience!
