# error if species duplicated

Dear OF team,

How is it possible that, the species are not duplicated - e.g. it gives me an error sign if I recorded Albizzia in shrubs and then I wrote it under regeneration as well.

Dear Beka,  
Collect shouldn't complain about duplicate species in different attributes/entities, unless you configure it with some validation rules.  
Can you check if you have some validation rules (maybe Uniqueness Check?) associated to one of the 2 attributes?
