# Collect Earth - unreadable blank window pops up after launch

Hi there, 

I'm having an issue with the Collect Earth 1.10.13 on windows. 
It installs without any problem, but when I launch the program, I get blank unreadable windows, like this :

What could I do to fix that?

Dear Thales,

This is an error caused by an old installation of the Java Runtime Environment being present in your file path.

You can proceed to **delete the folder *C:/OpenForis/CollectEarth/java***, and then attempt to **reinstall** Collect Earth again.

Collect Earth installers of version 1.10.15 and above should run without problems.
