# description of categorical attributes not shortened in Arena Mobile

Asked by bsenterre on 2025-08-18

Dear Open Foris team,
I wonder if it would be possible to make the 'description' fully visible for categorical attributes in in Arena Mobile, and not shortened as it is now (with "..."). Some criteria require, at least for new users, to be able to read the full tip/description from the screen showing a list of options in Arena Mobile. If we cannot read the full description, it kind of defeats the purpose to me.
Thanks a lot,
Bruno

Dear Bruno,
Thanks for this suggestion, we will work on this, probably we will add an option to the category to always show the full descriptions in the mobile app, we will keep you updated.
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
