# Mobile: select camera app

This is a brilliant system; ideal for my grassland/savanna biodiversity project.

I am trying to force the app to choose *Open Camera* instead of the default pre-installed *Camera* (Android).
I don't seem to be able to make *Open Camera* the default camera on my phone.
I tried disabling *Camera* but then Mobile crashed when I tried to take a photo.

Error opening camera: Error Call to function
'ExponentImagePicker.launchCameraAsync' has been rejected.
Caused by: Failed to resolve activity to handle the intent of type 'null'

Is there a workaround?
