# QR Code login without laptop

I do not have a laptop in the field when I need to log in. I have tried printing the QR code and scanning the printout on my mobile device. It works sometimes but not reliably.

What is the best practice without a laptop? This is a useful feature.

Dear Jeff,  
the QR code generated from Arena is not meant to be used in this way; it expires after 60 seconds and it cannot be shared.  
The best practice without a laptop is just login with username and password!
