# Use of Collect for sub-national projects

Can I use Openforis Collect for sub-national projects?

Absolutely! Regardless of the fact that Collect was originally designed for National Forest Inventories, you can use it to collect any type of data at different scales. In fact, Collect has already been used to collect, for example, socioeconomic survey data.

I have used OF Collect (+Collect Mobile) for socioeconomic survey and it has worked fine. New tests are around the corner. 

I will soon share more info on it.
