# what is the Actual use of "Referenced Key Attribute" ?

Hi,
We see **"Referenced Key Attribute"** within the survey designer. As I understand it is for table relationship. Am I right ? can you elaborate the use of it in more detail ? Thank you in advance.

Hi Rajkumar,  
That feature is still under development and has been made mainly for the use of Collect data in Open Foris Calc.

Dear OF team,any news about this question? Is it now possible to make key references with non nested tables? Does this function work and how?
