Hello, OF team.

OS is writing with a couple of improvement proposals to improve data entry in Arena Mobile 2.

1. Taxonomies sorted by most previously used in the plot One option that could significantly speed up the search is to have taxonomies appear sorted by previous use in the same table. I'll be explicit. When you're entering information, for example, about trees, it's common for species to be repeated, so it would be helpful if, when you open the taxonomy field, those previously used in the table would appear first. This way, you wouldn't have to search for the species each time and could directly select the species (if they are repeated).

2. Switch between fields directly (function tab). I don't know if it's possible to implement a way for you to jump from one field to the next when entering data into a record (for example, species, diameter, height, etc.) without having to exit and re-enter the next field.

Congratulations on Arena Mobile 2, it works really well!!

Regards Oscar

Dear Oscar,
Many thanks for your suggestions!
The first feature you say, about the most used taxa, will be implemented soon in AM (please check the Changelog once in a while, to see if it has been introduced or not). We can keep track of the first 10 most used taxa and show them on the top of the list (let us know if this can fit your needs).
Regarding the jump from one field to another, have you tried to switch to the "single node" view, using the small icon (with a "1" sign) in the top bar? In that way, only one attribute at a time will be shown and with the arrows in the bottom bar you can switch from one attribute to another.
Many thanks,
Open Foris team
