Hi everyone,

Currently, the only way to create new users not linked to an existing survey in Arena is by allowing them to request access directly.

Here are a couple of improvement ideas:

  • Add a configuration option or environment variable to disable the request-access feature.
  • Introduce a dedicated page for system administrators to manually create users, even when no surveys exist.

These changes would offer more flexibility in managing users, especially during the initial setup phase of a project.

Would this be useful for others as well? Looking forward to your feedback!

Dear David,
The feature you are mentioning could be quite helpful in case you want to deploy Arena on your own server.
We will put it in our pipeline and let you know when it will be available.
Many thanks,
