export the data from Collect to other format (KML or shp)

Hello,

I can explore and check the data in Collect. But it is difficult to examine the spatial distribution of these sampling plots in Collect. Is it possible to export the data records to other format, say KML or shpe file, so that we can visually display and analyze the spatial disbution/locations of these records?

Dear Jinkai,
Nowadays it's not possible to export the data as KML or shape file. This is something that will be available soon in the brand new version of Collect (4) but now you can try to use the Map feature that is available since version 3.12.12 and is accessible from the home page of Collect; with that you can show the list of sampling points defined for your survey and show in a map the coordinate values recorded in your records.
Please send us some feedback about that, meanwhile we will see if adding the new data export formats to Collect it's something we can include soon in the next releases.
