Hi openforis, When we enter the data from collect desktop and collect mobile, actually where the data exist? I found sqlite db files in C:\Users\user\OpenForis\Collect\data\rdb. These data were generated by saiku. It is not the main data location. I want to know where the actual data exist thus it can be used for other purpose, if possible from my side. we can connect collect to postgress database. It was not human readable format in previous version. Is it possible now? Thank you very much.

Hi Rajkumar,
The db files under the rdb folder are not created by Saiku, but are created FOR Saiku by Collect from the Saiku section.
That DB files can be used even for other purposes because they have a standard relational structure.
With the default configuration of Collect the data is stored in a SQLite database located in: C:\Users\user\OpenForis\Collect\data\collect.db. In this version of Collect it's still in a not in a human readabale format, but in a binary one readable only by Collect. We started to work on a different system to store the data and it will be available soon early next year.
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
