Hi,

I have to be able to host Collect and saved records remotely from different locations. Seems that I need to install Collect running on cloud server. This will also ensure that records are in a safe place. Are there instructions for setup? There are some links in Collect Manual for this issue, but links are not working (pages not found or there is nothing).

Cheers, Pekka

Dear Pekka,

We are dismissing the old wiki page referred by the link in Collect user manual.
Please use an old cached version of the page related to Collect installation accessible from thislink
We will include soon these instructions in the user manual.

Basically what you have to do is:

  • install a PostgreSQL database (suggested for a multi user environment)
  • install Tomcat (version 7+) application server
  • configure it to use the PostgreSQL database

We will contact you to your private email to give you more support on this.

Many thanks,

Hello, with regards to that question is was wondering where you would install postgres? On the server itself? Do you have a description how to set it up?

Kind regards,

Tobias

Hi!

I would be interested in installing Collect on a Windows server. Can you help me with that?

Thanks! Andras
