Dear OF Team,

will the default value be applied to an attribute that has a relevancy expression evaluated to FALSE? What I'm driving at is if I need to include the relevancy check to the default values's "Apply when" expression?

e.g.: subtype has relevancy check: type < 6 and default value apply when: type != 2, is that correct, or do I have to include the relevancy check as well type != 2 and type < 6?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Andreas,
The default value is applied only when an attribute becomes relevant and its Expression is evaluated only at that moment, so the answer is: no, you don't need to specify that condition in the Apply when field.
