For stratified area estimator tools, as an input maps, I used polygon of strata. After calculating respective sample point for each strata, we get the csv.file. In that file, area of the strata is calculated. I just would like to know the units of the calculated area such as ha or sqkm or thousand ha or something. |

Dear Kay The areas for vector based maps are calculated in the unit of the projection system. So if you are in UTM for instance, it will me in m2 Hope it helps Remi |
