Dear OpenForis, Testing the Official Arena Mobile app, i could not upload the data recorded: 1) connecting to server i got/get messages in orange: Not in server - that seems ok, 2) trying to upload I receive(d) message: Sending successful but there is still also a red bar covering +/- one fifth of possible length, 3) In Arena desktop: it states many errors! Before i could upload, at least new, records - although apparently only the form-attributes were uploaded without the data itself.

Dear Joseph,
There is no need to delete the records before updating Arena Mobile.
You can safely update it every time there is a new version.
We suggest you to alwasy use the latest version available, because it can have some bug fixes and new features you may need.
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team

I tried after - consultation SR and deleting first all entered records - prepared in an older version- entering and uploading a new record: Sending Successful! Also after again editing this record it can be uploaded and update the existing record in the database.

However this raises the question whether automatic updates are possible (if there are still records to be uploaded in the AM app? Or that (before) updating, it requires deleting all records in AM app?
