A good day

In Collect (Data Management section) we are trying to import CSV files into the survey. These files are product of data that has been collected earlier and now is pretended to be imported into the survey.

However, we have too many entities and too many csv files to import. Hence, we would like to know about the possibility to import more than one CSV file at the same time. It would save us a lot of time and effort.

Thanks for the attention. Look forward to hearing from you

Hi Julian,
How many entities do you have to import? Since it is a one time operation, we never thought about an alternative way of importing all the entities together. The easiest thing for us would be to allow importing a zip file containing different CSV files, each one corresponding to an entity. We will plan the development of this function, but it won't be ready before the end of January.
Thanks,

Good morning... There are 11 forms, which means 11 entities, and every form contains a couple of entities too (so each entity, meaning each form, contains three or four entities mostly). This is because of the complex structure of the forms.

Hi Julian,
With the latest version of Collect (3.8.27) you will be able to import a ZIP file containing several CSV files related to different entities. Let us know if this is what you need.
Many thanks,
