Hello friends, Sorry for the hassle with a little question, Openforis Collect has any option to block the survey save when user broke a check (a validation rule), forcing the user to correctly complete certain fields of the survey?

If not, in close implementations maybe can implement that feature?

thanks for your help

Dear Alexander,
Unfortunately now there is not such a function in Collect.
By the way, how are your "breaking" a check in Collect? The only way I can think about is to rename an attribute or an entity in the Schema... Anyway, don't forget that you can always validate the survey before saving it, so that you will know if there are problems.
What we can do is to validate the survey before saving it and ask for a confirmation before saving a survey with an error. This can be done and included in the next release of Collect (that will be 3.12.5).
Thanks,

Sorry for the misunderstanding, For example in a field, I define a validation rule that say that only can digit numbers from 1 to 360 (azimuth), the user writes 400, the field highlight red but user can save that value, not exists some feature that blocks the save o advance until the user correct that value?

Hi,
This is the intentional and expected behavior of Collect: the user should be able to save data, even with errors, then he will be responsible for correcting all the errors before sending the record to the next phase, that will be the "Cleansing" phase.
Are you working with Collect Desktop copying data from paper forms or using Collect Mobile in the field?
Thanks,
