Dear Community,

I am trying to change from SQLite to PostgreSQL. After applying the steps given in the manual (with the additional manual steps of creating a database and schema "collect") I am still not able to open collect. I have tried to change the port and I have deactivated my firewall, as well as I have changed the seetings in the postgres files (postgres and pg_hba), but it still does not work. The response it get is: localhost page can't be found (HTTP ERROR 404) Do you know what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance,

Tobias

Hi Tobias,
Can you share with us the Collect log file? You can find it in C:\opt\openforis\collect\tomcat\webapps\collect\logs\collect.log
It will give us some more information about the problem. What version of PostgreSQL are you using?
Thanks,

Dear Tobias,
We found a problem running Collect up to version 3.12.8 using the latest version of PostgreSQL (9.6). The problem is due to a non-backwards change in PostgreSQL that caused the problem you had.
Please update Collect to the latest version (3.12.9) and you shouldn't have again the same problem.
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
