I would like to know if there are plans to quit dependance on Adobe Flash Player for Open Foris Collect, as browsers won't mantain it suppor for long time.

So long, Flash: Adobe will kill plug-in by 2020 http://money.cnn.com/2017/07/25/technology/adobe-killing-flash/index.html

Thanks in advance,

Danilo da Rosa

Version 4 of Collect is finally out!

This version is completely free of Flash usage so it is safe to use in the future. You can update from your older version or install it from our website : http://openforis.org/tools/collect

Dear Danilo,
We already started to work on a newer version of Collect that won't need the Flash Player to work.
At the end of October we will release a version that will be a sort of hybrid but will help us to get some feedback from the users. Every suggestions or comments on the new version will be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Open Foris Team

Dear Luc,
We have already started to get rid of the dependency on the Flash Player.
Before the end of the year there will be a new version of Collect (4.0) completely Flash Player free.
Please be patient and we will let you know when the new version will be available.
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
