Hello OF Team,

I am using Arena Mobile and would like to be able to export records to a location on my tablet while in the field, which would then allow me to transfer data to an external harddrive as a backup option. This will be very useful when my field crews are without internet connectivity for multiple days at a time and thus will not be able to send their data to the Arena server. On the "Records" page of Arena Mobile, I see the option to "share data", but the only apps available for sharing are cloud locations (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive) or email apps. I'm hoping it is possible to have a "save to device" option.

Thank you!

Bryant

Hello, We understand that you need external storage as a backup. Do you need some external? or the same filesystem of the device? Best,

I would like to be able to save data from Arena Mobile to the filesystem of the device. Then, I could freely transfer data directly to another device for backup.

Dear Bryant,
Can you try to install a file manager app in your device? There are plenty of free apps, the one I prefer is File Manager Plus. Once you have installed that, you should be able to see it in the "share with" dialog, then you can save the file in the location you prefer.
Many thanks,
