Hi team, I recently updated Collect on my computer but now it will not startup. Tomcat starts but the chrome window hangs and does not load. Any advice appreciated. Cheers. asked 30 Sep '16, 07:30 liamcostello |
Dear Liam, answered 30 Sep '16, 09:01 Stefano (OF) ♦♦ On this note, to avoid these kind of issues, Collect should NOT BE RUNNING when you proceed to UPDATE it!! In newer version of the Collect updater it will just not allow you tu run it if Collect is not turned off...

Solved! I deleted the folders you suggested and it started fine next time I ran it. Thanks! answered 02 Oct '16, 17:12 liamcostello |
I had the same problem several times with updating to a new version, solved it with step 2 only: deleting C:\opt\openforis\collect\tomcat\webapps\tomcat\collect Can this become a standard part of the update/programme? answered 25 Oct '16, 18:17 joseph |

Updating 3.11.5 is working fine! If other java apps are already active (such as Apache HTTP server httpd.exe) they need also to be deactivated first (in Task manager). Thanks, Joseph answered 28 Oct '16, 18:16 joseph |
