Dear OFT,

How can I set a default value (predefined) in an attribute in a multiple entity? It is a code attribute (i.e. I1=2%). I tried by using both options, the code name and the label in the default value panel (by inserting them in the constant value field) without succeeding.

What I want is from the code list, by default, the most probable value to be shown in the form, and the user to be however able to choose another value afterwards, if needed.

Thank you,

itzam

Dear Itzam,
There shouldn't be any problems to define a default value for an attribute inside a multiple entity.
The default value will be applied as soon as the entity is created, for example when you add a row to a table.
The correct way to do it is to define the default value as a costant value (without quotes) when the value is not generated from an expression, otherwise define it in the expression field.
We will contact you to your private email so you can share with us you survey if you want.
Many thanks,
