Dear support,

I have a dropbox folder with saved Saiku queries (.saiku files). Is it possible to import these queries to Saiku? How is it done?

Right now the process to import queries is manual, but not terribly difficult:

The Saiku queries are saved as text files ( .saiku suffix ) in a folder within the Saiku installation. The key is to copy these text files from this folder into the same folder on the PC where you want to copy them to.

The folder where you can find them is :

Windows : C:\OpenForis\CollectEarth\saiku-server_2.6\tomcat\webapps\saiku\WEB-INF\classes\saiku-repository

Mac : /Users/YOUR_USER/CollectEarth/saiku-server_2.6/tomcat/webapps/saiku/WEB-INF/classes/saiku-repository

Notice that if you modified the folder where Collect Earth was installed you will also have to modify the first part of the folder path.

So just put those *.saiku" files from your computer into a USB stick and pass them on to the target computer into the same Saiku folder previously specified.

Happy training!
