 province,area,weight
 Boucle Du Mouhoun,3462512,1
 Cascades,1854819,1
 Centre,288844,1
 Centre-est,1479204,1
 Centre-nord,1979950,1
 Centre-ouest,2176359,1
 Centre-sud,1154444,1
 Est,4674171,1
 Hauts-bassins,2569885,1
 Nord,1646069,1
 Plateau Central,866101,1
 Sahel,3626270,1
 Sud-ouest,1655375,1

In Collect Earth we use the concept of the expansion factor to associate an area with a plot.

This means that we need to have a file with that can be used to associate the areas for each plot. This is the areas_per_attribute.csv file.

So, first of all you need to have an attribute in your survey that you can associate to the area. Most surveys already have such attribute, called country, province or district ( specially if you have used an IPCC-compliant survey and if you used the GEE Grid Generator to generate the sampling-design )

In your survey, if you have the country attribute already (you probably do), then you can just add the areas_per_attribute.csv file to the survey through Collect Survey Designer. the content of the CSV will be :

country,area,weight
Burkina Faso,27434003,1

If you for instance only have plots in some provinces of the country then your CSV should look like this (this is important, as the expansion factor is calculated by dividing the amount of plots within the province by the area of the province)

province,area,weight
Boucle Du Mouhoun,3462512,1
Cascades,1854819,1
Centre,288844,1
Centre-est,1479204,1
Centre-nord,1979950,1
Centre-ouest,2176359,1
Centre-sud,1154444,1
Est,4674171,1
Hauts-bassins,2569885,1
Nord,1646069,1
Plateau Central,866101,1
Sahel,3626270,1
Sud-ouest,1655375,1
