Dear Open Foris Team,

I am experiencing difficulties importing survey data from Open Foris Collect Mobile (v1.7.15) into the Collect Desktop version (v4.0.98).

After completing a survey using the mobile app, I attempted to import the resulting .collect-mobile file into the desktop application. However, it seems that this file format is not supported by the current version of Collect Desktop. Could you please advise on how I can successfully import the data?

I have chosen Collect over Arena because I need an effective solution for conducting forest surveys in remote areas without internet connectivity.

Thank you very much for your support!

Dear user,
The .collect-mobile file doesn't contain the data but only the survey structure.
You will need to export the collect data from the mobile device and import it into Collect.
In order to export the data, please refer to the section Exporting/submitting data of the manual. Once you have exported the data, you have to go to Collect, under Data Management and select Import from Collect format, then select the file exported from the mobile device and follow the instructions on screen.
We will contact you to your private email address to help you with this.
Many thanks,
