Hello, I have searched unsuccessfully for others who have asked this question. There is an existing discussion regarding Collect Mobile (https://openforis.support/questions/1437/button-to-submit-or-validate-the-data-in-collect-mobile). Is the answer the same for Arena Mobile?

Arena Mobile 2, on Android, does not seem to validate before uploading (and stop if validation fails), or am I missing something? There are warning triangles next to required fields, but the record is still uploaded. In a table with min count=1, the record is uploaded with count=0.

The missing data is highlighted after upload. I would rather have basic checks done on the Mobile, if possible. Thank you.

Dear user,
Arena Mobile does not prevent the user from uploading the data to the server in any case, even if the records being uploaded have some errors.
We can improve the list of records by adding the number of errors (if any) and showing a warning message in case the user tries to submit records with errors.
This feature will be available soon in one of the next versions of Arena Mobile (please check the changelog in the app once in a while).
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
