Hello Foris team and other users,

I know that the team is trying to fix a problem I have. Here are some test results that may help localise the problem.

I have tried three phones (Samsung, Nokia and a Samsung tablet) with Location permissions allowed. Photos taken IN Arena Mobile 2 keep location references after downloading to Open Foris Arena. The location is also shown in Image preview on AM2.

Photos taken with either the default camera or Open Camera and ADDED to an AM2 survey lose location references after download. The location does not show in Image preview.

What had me stuck was that phone photos transferred directly as Gmail attachments also had their location references stripped! I used www.localsend.com to transfer photos, and the location references were retained. By the way, I can recommend Localsend for sharing files on a local network.

So, it is the code in AM2 that pulls in the selected photo and resizes it, if necessary, that is causing the problem. Good luck, team. I need the feature. Jeff
