Checks (Validation rules) for coordinates

Hi team,

Is there a way i can code an error if the wrong format is used in a coordinate field?

We will use a dedicated GPS device (not the tablet) to record the coordinates and will enter them in manually - or perhaps edit the last few digits to increase accuracy.

Is there a way to ensure there coordinates are entered in decimal degrees with 6 decimal places?

Hi Liam,
Now the only way to validate a coordinate is to use a distance check and validate that the recorded location is not exceeding a certain distance from a specified location (e.g. a location in the sampling point data or some other attribute defined in the schema).
