Hi,
I just downloaded latest collect earth 1.6.20 and did successfully installed an run in one machine. when I wanted to install the same in another machine it installed successfully. when I launched collect earth it threw an exception (?) like this
what is the problem? My both computer have windows 10 os. As I know the only difference is that successful installation and successful run machine have the sqlite db and the unsuccessful run machine is connected with postgres db. What is the problem with it? please suggest me. |

Hi Rajkumar, That is not an exception, but the text of a KML file (the one generated by Collect Earth and that should be opened by Google Earth) The error is probably due to Google Earth not being the custom application to open KML files. Is Google Earth installed? Please see this answer from a previous post. Basically you need to set Google Earth as the default application when opening KML and KMZ files. Let us know if that didn't do the trick! |
