Dear Support Team,

when displaying my tree data in calc, I would like to group the data according to species (e.g. to create tree height / diameter relationships per species). However, in data view, I can only filter via the species code.

Is this the only way to filter the data per species? What can I do if I would like to have a text variable with the scientific name of the tree species?

Thank you so much for your help!

Dear wexxo,

Aggregations on row data are not supported in data view of Calc, if you wish to do so, you can download the CSV file and aggregate them in an external software like Excel.

Also, species are imported as code variable and therefore you can only view and filter the code; joining the row data with the scientific name must be done externally. However I understand it could be useful to have it in Calc directly, we'll be thinking a way to achieve that.

Thank you for your input, we'll let you know.
