Dear Open Foris team, If I create an attribute "File", I only have the options to define that file as Image, Audio, Video or Document. It would be great if you could add the possibility to attach a GIS file such as .kml (probably easier that esri shapefile format). Not all surveyed data can relate to a point coordinates, and actually some need to be linked to a line or a polygon. In that case, I create the polygon shapefile or kml file in a GIS app (I use mostly GPS Essentials and SW Maps). Therefore it would be just great that I could attach to my Open Foris Collect entry a file saved using those other apps somewhere on my device storage. Looking forward to read your response. Best wishes, Bruno

Dear Bruno,
The "Document" file type is supposed to be used for any type of files (including a shape file), but in Collect Mobile it hasn't been implemented.
We will let you know as soon as this feature will be available even on Collect Mobile.
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
