Hello Dear OF team.

While working in the tablet the figures are automatically deleted. I mean “Number attributes” figures, e.g. for the tree height, azimuth, tree diameter. Those variables that are mandatory to be filled and the figure is deleted, tablet shows error message and we correct it locally, however when it is not mandatory, during the field work, we can not notice that they are deleted and only then during the analysis we realize that it is deleted. Can you please somehow fix the problem? P.S. For the field work we use “Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 SM-T820".

best regards

Beka

Hi Beka,

we have experienced the same problem, that certain values (e.g. height, DBh, etc.) disappeared during data collection. Very often the field teams don't realize that the values were not saved in OF Collect Mobile and we only realize the missing data after re-import into OF Collect. This is a serious problem as it makes the software not reliable. Hopefully this can be fixed by a new update. Can anybody help?

Dear Beka and Alex,
We have tried the survey you are using but we couldn't reproduce your problem.
Are you sure that the "missing" information is not related to attributes that become "not relevant" or "not required" in some conditions? Can you help us to reproduce the problem and giving us some more hints?
Many thanks,
Open Foris Team
