Dear Collect Earth team,

I have been trying to download the latest version of Collect Earth app Desktop, available on this link: https://openforis.org/tools/collect-earth/#Download However, the disk image won't open and a pop-up window appears saying that the disk is corrupted. I am trying to install it on a Mac with an M1 chip updated to macOS Monterey. Could you please advise me on this issue? Thank you in advance!

Thanks for reporting the issue, we are aware of it and working to fix it!

So far, the best solution I can find prior to fixing it is to follow these instructions: Installing "corrupted app" in Mac OS X Monterey

Could you please check and report back if the issue is solved after installing the software following the video?

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!

Hello, thank you for your prompt response. I did try what the tutorial says, even before contacting you, among other tests. However, the image disk does not even mount, therefore, using Disk Utility is also useless to try to correct for a corrupted disk... (the external disk option is checked in the finder preferences). Do you have and estimated date to correct the bug? Thank you for the support!

The newest installer for Collect Earth (1.14.8) has finally fixed the issue with installation on Monterey!

This is probably too late for user perla, our apologies for making you wait but the bug originated from the software that we use to generate the installers so we had to wait for them to fix it.
