Dear Stefano, After importing my data and cleaning it, how do I go to Calc for analyzing the data? Is it possible to go directly or I should export the data and import in Calc? Best, Marcelo asked 30 Sep '15, 17:32 Marcelo |
Hi Marcelo, If you want to analyze your data, the best thing to do is to export it and import it into Calc. You can even export the data in different formats (CSV, XML, SQL script to create a relational database) so you can analyze it with your preferred software tools. Thanks, Stefano answered 01 Oct '15, 10:54 Stefano (OF) ♦♦ |
Dear Marcelo, I guess you would like to produce estimates for an area of interest using a specific sampling design, after having cleansed your data with Collect? If that's the case, you should first export your collect backup from data section in Collect. Then create a workspace in Calc and import the previously exported collect backup. Once you have completed the basic steps to have your collect data imported into calc, you should import the area of interest and set up the sampling design. After you can start entering your formulas. Please have a look at the documentation for specific details http://www.openforis.org/tools/Calc.html or feel free to post any other question here. Thank you Mino and Stefano. I was wondering if there was a direct bridge between Collect and Calc to skip the Export/Import. But it is okay. answered 06 Oct '15, 16:20 Marcelo |
