Collect works good for us on newer and older versions of android and various devices, but on this device (Galaxy TAb Active2 SM-T395) with android 9 it crashes with messages.. Apps Collect keep crashing Resetting the device to factory settings doesn't solve it ... any ideas? Thx.

Your problem can be related to some expressions in your survey that when evaluated on the device generate some kind of error.
