Dear all, I installed the latest version of calc on my Windows 7 machine. I did'nt get any error messages during the installation. However, the start-up of calc leaves the website unreponsive at all. Any idea what went wrong? Dear pmagdon From the log file it looks like the application started up correctly, but it seems it received a shutdown command afterwards. I cannot see any problem in the log file you sent. The first time you execute Calc, it creates all database tables required by the application to work; this operation might take a bit longer; but however we're talking about 30 seconds/2 minutes (depending on your hardware capacity). Is this the case? How long did you wait, approximately, since you started Calc, to shut it down or send this email? Thank you. Regards, Mino |

Dear pmagdon from the log file i see that the application Server startup in 70010 ms Nov 19, 2015 12:25:34 PM, but then you shut it down on Nov 19, 2015 12:25:34 PM, immediately after it started. It took 700010 milliseconds to start = 1.1668333 minutes. Please be patient to let the application start correctly. Regards, Mino |

Dear Paul, you have already mentioned the problem with R https://openforis.support/questions/253/install-error-installpackages-typesource At the moment we're developing the new version of Calc, that won't require any specific R version. From the log file i cannot see any problem, and the fact that the server stops automatically seems quite unrealistic, unless something strange is happening in your computer. So I have no clue were to start looking for „something strange happening" on my computers. Any idea would be much appreciated. Did you received my mail with all the log files you were asking for?
