Hello! I was working in Collect Earth Desktop without problem. Yesterdey I apply the last update suggested (version 1.21.69. After that, when I open Collect, Google Earth does not open. Google Earth is already set up as default app to open kml files.

What could be the problem?

Any advice appreciated.

We have found other users with the same problem.

It seems that the Windows/Other Antivirus is preventing Collect Earth from generating the KML file that is used to automatically open Google Earth. You will need to disable the Antivirus from "watching" the folder or even better to allow teh Collect Earth launcher.exe and javaw.exe to work without being watched by the antivirus.

Could you check that you have the latest version of Chrome or Firefox installed?

Also, if you are using Firefox, try changing to Chrome or viceversa. You can do that by clicking in Properties-> Browsers

Thank you for the answer. I tried with both options (Chrome and Firefox), but it still does not works.

Is there any chance to prove another solution? or in other case, Is there any way to revert to the previous version?
