Hi,

I´m facing a problem when installing calc. I have installed it before on other computers but this time it shows an error in the post-installation procedure.

It says "Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly. Problem creating launcher in C:\opt\OpenForisCalc"

The same error showns when installing CollectEarth as well. Whereas OpenForisCollect is functioning without a problem.

Have you guys faced any simillar issue, and do you maybe have a solution?

Thanks and regards

Hi.

This is a strange error; it never occurred to us and it doesn't seem to concern the software itself.

Have you tried to start up Calc after this error ?

Also, could you please give us more details about your computer (Operating system, java version, R version)?

Thank you,

Mino

Hi Mino,

I was not able to start it besides the error. But, meanwhile I was able to solve the issue. Probably the java version was creating the problem. After uninstalling and installing the newest version, the installation was succesfull.

Thanks

Hi mpanev,

Glad to hear it was only the Java version and that software was successfully installed.

Thank you,

Mino
